At this stage, AIDA hopes and intends to hold our conference on the planned dates. However, as the current health crisis is still evolving, AIDA will make a call in the coming weeks as to whether or not the conference can proceed.

Conference theme: Powerful Voice
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors have the privilege and fortune of having a voice in improving the health of our people. There is an enormous challenge ahead, and we must all raise our voices to effect change. In order to have a Powerful Voice, AIDA works with our Aboriginal community-controlled health sector, with our people and communities across Australia, and with Non-Indigenous people and organisations who will lend their voice to the task.
At the 2020 Conference we want to hear from students, doctors, researchers, medical bodies and organisations who are leading in their work. We want to hear from anyone who is working to improve the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, and health workforce – to form a Powerful Voice for change.
