Student Director’s message
Dear current and future Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students
The AIDA Student Representative Committee (SRC) is comprised of enthusiastic and motivated Indigenous medical students from each medical school across Australia. Each SRC member is elected by their peers to be a voice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students at their respective universities and as the SRC, form a collective to advocate on issues and matters important to our membership.
Each year the SRC develops and delivers projects that are designed to support our medical students and we are excited to carry forward over the coming 12 months, the great work done by our previous committees.
Being an SRC member comes with the responsibility of listening to our students and bringing these messages forward, so please reach out to our team to share your ideas, thoughts and opinions.
The SRC aim to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through their medical school journey. We are confident they will make professional, excellent doctors, becoming role models in the field.
Kind Regards
Tom Mylne
