The
AIDA Strategic Plan 2006 – 2009 sets out the strategic direction of our organisation over the next three years and the ways we intend to get there. Our Strategic Plan also includes the cultural and professional values, principles and perspectives that we believe makes our organisation, and people, unique and valuable within the Australian health system.
Our Vision:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have equitable health and life outcomes
- There is parity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals across the whole health sector
- As a medical professional body, AIDA is seen by all as central to the health and well-being of the nation
- The Australian health system is culturally safe, of high quality, reflective of need and respects and integrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural values
