AIDA is represented on a range of health or workforce bodies, in both the government and non government sectors. Some of these include:

• National Indigenous Health Equality Council (NIHEC);
• Close the Gap Indigenous Health Equality Steering Committee;
• Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges (CPMC) - Indigenous Health Subcommittee;
• Australian Medical Association Taskforce on Indigenous Health (AMA TFIH);
• LIME Network Steering Committee;
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Working Group (ATSIHWWG);
• Committee of Deans of Medical Schools Outcomes Database Stakeholder Group (Medical Deans/MSOD);
• General Practice Education and Training Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Reference and Consultative Groups (GPET);
• Royal Australasian College of Physicians Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Expert Advisory Group (RACP);
• A number of technical reference groups in relation to COAG Close the Gap Chronic Disease initiatives;
• National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Committee (NIDAC).
